A Day at BCE
8:30am - 10am: Safety and Grounding
Any day at BCE will begin with a safe arrival, carefully crafted with specialist thought to ensure the best start alongside their key adult for every learner.
10:15am - 12:30pm: Learning, Teaching and Belonging
Learning, teaching and belonging is structured into phases that make it possible for everyone to achieve their goals for the day and develop their aims for their project portfolio.
1pm - 2:30pm onwards: Inclusive Study
After a lunch break (and time to travel for any students joining online), we move to a hybrid study programme that is accessible on site or remotely from 1pm. In very small groups, learners access live teaching, learning, pastoral support and personal growth regardless of physical or emotional barriers.
Students join their bespoke study programme from wherever they are and are led by their teacher, key adult and coach. Life Learner Coaching, guided work towards academic portfolio and therapeutic interventions are all facilitated by our specialists. Live learning closes at 2:30pm and students are encouraged to continue their developments and build independence, by using our online resources and feedback, beyond their day at BCE.

Belonging at BCE
At Beyond Creative Education we take the safety, health and wellbeing of our students, staff and volunteers very seriously. All of BCE’s work for children and young people is ruled by its core values: Creativity, courage, curiosity and care.
We are proud that safeguarding is at the centre of what we do and how we do it. A safe and caring place to learn helps our students to thrive whilst in education and beyond. This makes it possible to love learning, be positive, enjoy communicating and follow goals for the future.
Every young person at BCE has their own relational, health and safety plan which staff understand and are trained in regularly. All of our learners understand our vision and values and have a valued voice in the way we operate.
Your Designated Safeguarding Lead and First Aider is:
